Peabody Memorial Library in Jonesport participates in the Maine State Library’s “Libraries Health Connect Program,” offering a private telehealth room with equipment (laptop, camera, headset) for residents to have virtual doctor appointments, increasing healthcare access in rural Maine, funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. It offers a diverse range of content for readers of all ages, with no holds, wait lists, or monthly borrowing limits.

The National Digity Equity Center (NDEC) offers a variety of digital skills classes aimed at improving digital literacy and skills for individuals in Maine. These classes are available both online and in-person, and they cover topics such as using digital devices, internet safety, and more.
